Registration and Cancellation Policies
- Refunds, minus a US$100 administrative fee, will be issued on written cancellations received on or before Tuesday, October 15, 2024. Phone cancellations WILL NOT be accepted. Registrants assume full responsibility for notification to and verification of receipt by SWS Headquarters. Refunds will be processed approximately 1 month after the meeting.
- Refunds or credits will not be given for failure to attend, late arrival, flight/transportation cancellation, unattended events or early departure. In the rare event of a meeting, SWS is not responsible for nor will provide refunds for costs associated with travel, airfare, hotel or transportation costs incurred by the registered attendee. It is always recommended that the registrant considering purchasing independent travel insurance.
- Registration and attendance at or participation in the SWS Annual Meeting constitutes an agreement by the registrant to SWS's use and distribution (both now and in the future) or the registrant or attendee's image or voice in photographs, videotapes, electronic reproduction and audiotapes of such event activities.

- To provide registration-related services and ensure the common interests of all applicants, this annual meeting shall comply with the provisions of the Personal Data Protection Act and all related regulations in Taiwan for the collection, processing, and use of all personal data provided by participants, including but not limited to email accounts, names, organizations, and phone numbers.
- In accordance with Article 3 of the Taiwan Personal Data Protection Act, applicants shall be able to exercise the following rights regarding their personal data: make queries and requests for reading, make requests for copies, provide supplementary material or corrections, halt the collection, processing, or use of the data, and delete the data.
- Applicants shall have the freedom to choose to provide personal data or exercise their rights as accorded to them by the provisions of Article 3 of the Taiwan Personal Data Protection Act. However, applicants who provide insufficient, fraudulent, stolen, or false data may not be able to enroll in any related courses or access any related services or rights.
- Before an applicant requests a halt to all collection, processing, and usage of their personal data or requests a deletion of their personal data in accordance with the provisions of Article 3 of the Taiwan Personal Data Protection Act, this annual meeting shall comply with the provisions of the Taiwan Personal Data Protection Act and all related regulations in its use of all personal data within the scope and purposes of this annual meeting.

註冊報名與取消政策
- 2024 年 10 月 15日(二)前以書面取消，本年會將於會後大約 1 個月退款（扣除 100 美元手續費），不受理電話取消。註冊報名者具有通知本年會及資料核實責任。
- 若未能出席、遲到、航班/交通取消、缺席活動或提前離開，將不退款或處理。SWS 不負責註冊報名者之差旅、機票、飯店或交通費用，並建議註冊報名者自行購買旅遊平安險。
- 註冊報名並出席 SWS 年會者，等同同意 SWS 使用和傳播（現在和將來）內含與會者肖像或聲音之本活動照片、聲音、錄影帶、數位複製品和錄音帶。
