First time in Asia, the 2024 SWS Annual Meeting will be held in Taipei, Taiwan during November 11-16, marking a new era for SWS influence in this region. Hundreds of wetland scientists and professionals from all over the world will join the Conference.
Responding to the United Nations 2030 Sustainable Development Goals and Ramsar Convention, the theme of the 2024 SWS Annual Meeting will focus on understanding the relationship between wetland and global climate change, and to engage in the mitigation and adaptation of global environmental and social issues. 濕地科學家學會（Society of Wetland Scientists, SWS）年會將首度移師亞洲，於 2024 年 11 月 11 日至 11 月 16 日在臺灣臺北舉行，數百名全球濕地專業人士即將來臺交流，共同邁向亞洲新紀元！
臺北年會呼應《聯合國 2030 永續發展目標》及《聯合國拉姆薩公約》，以「全球變遷之減緩與調適，濕地是解方」為主題，強調濕地具有增益生物多樣性、儲碳、調適、減緩氣候變遷、及協助調適社會安全等影響力，是亞洲難得的國際盛會，誠摯邀請企業及機關團體支持贊助，攜手推動台灣乃至全球的濕地保育。
